Pricing explained

Understand what you pay for.

How is my filing price calculated?

Your tier is selected using the total number of Forms 1095-C filed for one employer and tax year. The tier's rate applies to every form in that filing. Your price is the greater of the calculated amount or the tier minimum.

For example, 501 DIY forms at $2.19 total $1,097.19. Because that tier has a $1,295 minimum, the filing price is $1,295.

Are rates applied separately to blocks of forms?

No. This is volume pricing, not graduated pricing. One rate applies to all forms in the filing, subject to the applicable tier minimum.

What is the difference between DIY and Managed Filing?

With DIY, your team uses the software to import data, review automatically coded forms, and submit filings. With Managed Filing, ThousandSquared adds human review, filing management, assistance with filing issues, priority support, and one applicable state filing.

Is employee access to Form 1095-C included?

Yes. Both options include 1095-C PDF generation and secure employee access through the employee portal.

Is rejected transmission resubmission included?

Yes. DIY includes rejected transmission resubmission. Managed Filing also includes team review of rejections, resubmission, and acknowledgement monitoring.

What information does my company need to provide?

Your company completes a brief questionnaire and provides the employee, payroll, and benefits information needed for reporting. The employer remains responsible for supplying accurate and complete information, including when using Managed Filing.
